The Terraspark Boots are a Post-EOC accessory crafted by combining Frostspark Boots and Lava Waders at a Tinkerer's Workshop, providing the benefits of both items. They are the final upgrade of the Hermes/Sailfish/Flurry/Dunerider and Water Walking Boots, also being the strongest boots in the entire game.

• Like other flight-granting boots, Terraspark Boots grant a bonus on top of equipped wings.
• Terraspark Boots raise the player's base speed from 15 mph to 34 mph.
• They are the same speed as the Frostspark Boots, but have the benefits of Lava Waders.
• Landing on the surface of any liquid with Terraspark Boots equipped will not cause fall damage.
• Despite not being mentioned in the tooltip, the Terraspark Boots also allows the wearer to walk on shimmer liquid.

Tips[]

• The Lava Charm, Lava Waders, Molten Charm, Hellfire Treads, and Demonic Hellcart stack with the Terraspark Boots to increase lava immunity by 7 seconds each, up to a total maximum of 42 seconds.
• Although they look impressive, Terraspark Boots fall behind Amphibian Boots once you enter Hardmode, because of the latter's immense synergy with Wings and avoiding liquids becomes trivial with Wings equipped anyway.
• Could be considered useful before the Wall Of Flesh since the Terraspark Boots Have The Lava Waders lava walking ability and the Frostspark Boots fast speed and brief flight, Resulting in you not having to construct a bridge.
• When combining Terraspark Boots with Amphibian Boots and a Bundle of Balloons, a Pre-Hardmode character can acquire mobility on-par with early Hardmode wings. Said mobility can be further augmented with a Grappling Hook and/or Shield of Cthulhu (Expert Mode). Keep in mind however that this usually takes an immense deal of grinding, and most players would prefer to simply advance into Hardmode.

Trivia[]

• The Terraspark Boots share a similar aesthetic with the Terra Blade and the Terra Toilet.
  • The achievement for acquiring the Terraspark Boots has a very similar name to the achievement for acquiring the Terra Blade, "Sword of the Hero". This is probably a reference to the shared "Terra" aesthetic.
• Before the 1.4 update, Redigit repeatedly insisted that a tinker combination with the Frostspark Boots and Lava Waders would be "too overpowered" and that such an accessory would never exist nor fit in the game balance-wise.
  • Redigit still believes the Terraspark boots are overpowered^[1] and he "only did it to get people to stop bugging him about it".^[2]
• The Terraspark Boots are the only item with the "Terra" theme that can be crafted before Hardmode.
  • The Terragrim also shares the "Terra" name and is obtainable before Hardmode, but instead of crafting it (like the Terraspark Boots, Terra Blade, and Terra Toilet), it has a chance to be obtained from Enchanted Sword Shrines.
• Certain other helpful footwear accessories are not included in the crafting tree and therefore do not add to the Terraspark Boots' set of effects. A notable example is the Amphibian Boots (and by extension, although not realistically human footwear, the Frog Leg).
  • The Tabi and Shoe Spikes are instead used for crafting the also popular Master Ninja Gear, and the Flame Waker Boots are purely aesthetic.
• In a large quantity of Terraria-based content, the Terraspark Boots are used to convey "drip"
