Well, her mom is 80 years old, whereas her dad is currently 89.Her dad was a part of the auxiliary coast guard. Sadly, now her father is suffering from dementia. Barbara disclosed it on the occasion of her dad’s 87th birthday.

Barbara Played Both father & Mother Role In Her Daughter’s Life
As we mentioned above, Barbara and her ex-husband stayed in a relationship for a short period of time. Well, after parting ways, Ira was totally an absent figure from his daughter Bhad Bhabie’s life. Barbara was just 35 years old when she gave birth to the rapper.

Bhabie’s mom Suffered From Cancer: Is she alive?
As Barbara raised her daughter Dani in Florida alone, she was diagnosed with cancer in 2007. It was a hard time for Barbara as her daughter was just four at that time. Even though, the rapper became her mom’s temporary caregiver. She use to rub aloe on her mother’s chest to ease the pain which was given by the treatments.
Not only that, but they also had financial problems as Barbara was unable to get any job. They only survived on insurance, child support, and sometimes support from Barbara’s family. In an interview with Palm Beach Post, Barbara talked about the subject matter “mother’s love”. She told,
“Sometimes you think you are alone, but there are a bunch of moms like me out there who should be recognized. It’s hard being on your own. A dad is a dad, but a mom is the one who gives birth to a child. She nurtures that child. You are a mom for life. That never changes.”
Although the cancer was cured, it again returned to Barbara’s life when her daughter was around 11 years old. Thankfully, as of now, she is healthy and living life happily.
Barbara Bregoli’s Family Has A Well-Documented Controversy
As per Dazed, after the return of cancer in Barbara’s life for the second time, Bhabie started having a change in her behavior. Bregoli said, “Danielle had fear. She feared losing her mom, and that’s how she reacted.” When Dani turned 13, her behavior got worse and worse.
Her action soon started turning criminal, and after she stole her own mother’s car just to go to Miami, Barbara sent her to rehab. However, it is believed that the laws were of no help. Then, on September 14, 2016, Barbara and her daughter were interviewed on Dr. Phil just to talk about the then-13-year-old Bhabie’s behavior.
In spite of getting better results, her phrase “Catch me outside, how about that?” became a meme. Later, she started spending her time at a facility for “troubled teens”, the Turn-About Ranch in Escalante, Utah. She ended up getting arrested and found guilty of marijuana possession, filing a false police report, and theft. In July 2017, she was announced to five years of jail. In March 2021, the artist revealed that she was abused and had a bad experience at the Turn-About Ranch through her YouTube channel. She also their staff for forcing her to sit still for straight three days. Bhabie wasn’t even allowed to sleep at that moment. Her complaints were also ignored.
She also confronted Dr. Phil through the video for sending teenagers on his show to those kinds of facilities. Dr. Phil, on the other hand, denied all of her criticism through an interview with NewsNation. He said he was unaware of the ranch’s actions, there wasn’t any feedback from them.
